The Albany Police Department reports that it is currently investigating an early morning shooting at the Engine 9 Quarters on Delaware Avenue.
According to APD, officers responded to the Albany Fire Department’s Engine 9 Quarter at 356 Delaware Avenue for a report of shots fired around 2:40 a.m. on December 9.
Police say officers found a shattered window near the intersection of Marshall Street and Delaware Avenue as well as other evidence consistent with gunfire.
APD does not believe the Fire Department was targeted. Police say it is currently following up on active leads.
