The Abbotsford Police Department reports that it has detained two men in connection to a shooting on Thursday morning.
According to AbbyPD, its officers responded to the 2100 block of Holly Street around 7:42 a.m. following a report of shots fired. Police say the suspects fled the scene in a red sedan before police arrived.
AbbyPD says patrol officers reached the scene and confirmed that a residence had been shot at although no injuries were reported. Police believe the shooting was targeted.
Around 8 a.m., authorities responded to a vehicle fire at the closed Bradner Rest Stop. AbbyPD says officers arrived and learned from witnesses that individuals were seen fleeing from the suspect vehicle.
The Lower Mainland Integrated Police Dog Service responded and helped detain two men. Those men remain in police custody. According to AbbyPD, police are still looking for a third suspect.
