The Baton Rouge Police Department has arrested a suspect in a homicide at 1184 Bob Pettit Boulevard. According to BRPD, the Homicide Division initiated its investigation into the death of 26-year-old Devin Repath. The victim was killed around 1:18 a.m. on March 23, 2024.
BRPD says uniform patrol officers were working extra duty at the aforementioned location when they found Repath unconscious. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Detectives say they developed Matthew Marsiglia as a suspect during the investigation.
Marsiglia was taken into custody and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a charge of Manslaughter.
