Greenville, Mississippi – The Greenville Police Department is investigating a double shooting that occurred around 8 p.m. on January 12, 2025.

According to a GPD statement, officers responded to Delta Health Systems in reference to two people shot.

At the scene, officers made contact with two victims in the trauma rooms. In a statement, police said the victims stated they were traveling in the 1200 block of South Broadway when someone began shooting at the vehicle they were in.

The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were released from the hospital. GPD says investigators are following up on leads.
