Roswell, New Mexico – The Roswell Police Department said in a social media statement that it is trying to locate a person of interest in connection to a fatal shooting on January 1, 2025.

According to RPD, investigators are looking for 35-year-old Christopher Servantez who is approximately 5’7” tall and weighs around 160 pounds. Police say he has dark hair and brown eyes.

Police are also trying to locate a vehicle that may have been used in the murder. RPD says the vehicle is a green and silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with New Mexico license plate BHWM37.

RPD says the victim, 24-year-old Marco Antonio Munoz, was found by a passerby just before 4 a.m. at the intersection of East Chisum Street and Cahoon Avenue. The victim was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
