Dover, Delaware – The Dover Police Department has announced the arrest of 31-year-old Deshaun Williams in connection to a shooting in the 100 block of Maple Glen Drive.
According to DPD, the incident happened around 7:10 p.m. on Sunday. Officers found a 39-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition. Authorities say Williams was in a verbal argument with the victim.
At some point during that argument, Williams allegedly shot the victim and fled the area. Williams was arrested by Delaware State Police in the Hartley area.
Deshaun Williams is charged with Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, 2x Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited, and Reckless Endangering.
