Graves County Sheriff’s Office charges home invasion suspect captured in Tennessee

Graves County, Kentucky – The Graves County Sheriff’s Office says it has identified a home invasion suspect and that charges are pending. According to GCSO, a homeowner on State 97 reported he had caught a man inside his house around 12:30 p.m. on December 18.

GCSO says the homeowner confronted the man causing the suspect to flee from the house and leave in a vehicle. Authorities say the homeowner managed to a photo of the vehicle as it was fleeing.

Around 4 p.m. on December 19, 2024, GCSO said it was notified that Union City Police had located the vehicle at a Walmart. As the driver exited the store, officers confronted him leading to a foot pursuit.

UCPD says the suspect was apprehended following a chase through the Union City Walmart. Union City Police claim the suspect had a large sum of cash and Fentanyl in his possession. GCSO says its detectives traveled to Union City to identify and interview the suspect.

Authorities say the suspect, 40-year-old Charles T. Livvix, refused to answer any questions. The homeowner reportedly picked him out of a photo lineup. Livvix is being charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, according to GCSO.
