Chesapeake City, Maryland – The Maryland State Police announced in a media release that it is investigating the death of a 29-year-old woman in Chesapeake City, Maryland.

According to MSP, the deceased has not been identified at this time. The cause and manner of death are pending the results of an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.

MSP says troopers responded to the 800 block of Bethel Road for a report of a woman suffering from multiple injuries around 6 a.m. on December 18, 2024. Authorities say the woman was transported to ChristianaCare Union Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
