Houston Police responding to mass shooting on Jensen Drive

Update – In a media briefing, HPD says officers responded to a shooting in progress call around 11:20 p.m. As officers reached the location, they saw a hectic scene with people running out of a makeshift club. An empty business that may have been leased out was used at the site of the makeshift club.

Officials say it was like a pop-up party that showed up on social media and consisted mostly of juveniles. A 16-year-old male victim passed away at the scene. A 16-year-old female passed away at an area hospital.

A 13-year-old victim is in critical condition at Texas Children’s Hospital. There were five people shot, two deceased, and one in critical condition.

Original – The Houston Police Department says it is responding to a multiple shooting in the 10100 block of Jensen Drive. At this time, it is believed that two people are dead and four others have been injured.

HPD says the suspect or suspects fled the scene. Police Commanders and the PIO are responding to the scene.
