The Victoria Police Department has confirmed that a suspect is in custody in connection to a fatal stabbing on Lawndale Avenue. According to VPD, officers responded to 1903 Lawndale Avenue to the Victorian Village Apartments in reference to a stabbing around 5:15 p.m. on December 12, 2024.

Police say an unconscious male subject was found with apparent injuries. VPD alleges that two males were involved in a physical altercation that led to one being stabbed.

In a later update, VPD confirmed that the victim in the case had succumbed to his injuries and that the suspect was in custody. No other details are available at this time.
