The Somerton Police Department has announced the arrests of three 17-year-old males and a 16-year-old male in connection to a drive-by shooting near the 1300 block of Avenida Serenidad.
Police say the shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. on December 7, 2024. SPD says multiple rounds struck an occupied resident although no injuries were reported.
All juveniles are City of Yuma residents, according to police. The investigation was led by SPD detectives and patrol officers. SPD says the investigation led to the identification of the suspect, the seizure of the vehicle involved, and the recovery of the weapon and ammunition used.
