The Oroville Police Department reports that it is investigating the death of a 23-year-old man. OPD says it received a 911 call about a potentially deceased person near an access road close to the 2300 block of 5th Avenue around 10:47 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to police, responding officers confirmed the discovery. At this time, details are limited.

OPD says the deceased is a 23-year-old man from Oroville, but his name is being withheld pending family notification.
