The Irving Police Department reports that it is searching for a suspect in connection to a kidnapping and assault at an establishment near SH-183 and Esters Road.

IPD says a suspect entered the establishment on November 10, approached a female employee, and forced her into the back room where he assaulted her.

IPD has identified the suspect as Patrick Francis Hoversten of Sonoma, California. IPD says Hoversten is employed as a truck driver who is believed to be in the Laredo, Texas area.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
