A man is fighting for his life following a shooting on Botanical Drive in Killeen, Texas on Thursday. The Killeen Police Department reports that its officers responded to the 2200 block of Botanical Drive for a report of a gunshot victim around 1:04 p.m. on September 19, 2024.

At the scene, officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was airlifted to Baylor Scott and White in critical condition. Criminal Investigation Division detectives are actively investigating the shooting.
