Baltimore police worked a stabbing in the 1400 block of East North Avenue at about 9:58 a.m. on November 9, 2023. Responding officers found a 30-year-old man suffering from torso stab wound(s). The victim was treated at a local hospital.
Following an investigation, detectives determined the victim was involved in an altercation when he was stabbed. The altercation took place at a business in the 2000 block of Harford Road. The victim fled on foot heading east on North Avenue, where 911 was notified.
The victim’s identity has not been release. The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Dermont Williams, was apprehended by Warrant Apprehension detectives on November 13, 2023, in the 2000 block of Harford Road.
Williams has been charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment, and assault.
