Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – Pittsburgh Police say a 14-year-old male was shot while walking to his house.
According to a statement from the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department, officers responded to the 2000 block of Rose Street following a seven-round ShotSpotter alert around 11:15 p.m.
Police say responding officers found a 14-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the left ankle. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
According to police, the victim said he was shot while walking up to his house. Authorities have not made any arrests and no suspect information is available at this time.
